Sapphire Aviation Inc. enters into agreement with Coastal Technologies Group, Inc. (CTGi) to utilize CTGi’s air carrier management platform.

Wellington, FL – July 7, 2007 – Sapphire Aviation, Inc. signed an agreement to utilize CTGi’s air carrier management platform and will help enhance the platform to handle the complexities of international charters and associated document management challenges.

Sapphire Aviation, Inc. is a F.A.A. Certificated On Demand, Air Carrier operating in Florida and the Bahamas. Sapphire currently operates Aero Commander 500, six passenger aircraft out of Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami. Sapphire has been in operation for over 10 years providing on-demand services between the US and the Bahamas. Sapphire flies regularly to Great Harbour Cay, Marsh Harbour, Treasure Cay, Freeport, and Nassau. Sapphire offers traditional charters and can also offer shared flights or individual seats when available. “I’m very excited about CTGi’s software service. I’ve been looking for some time now for a cost effective, integrated software system that can handle all aspects of international charter operations without having to make significant investments in IT staff and technology,” said Sapphire’s founder and president, David O’Donnell.

CTGi will provide Sapphire with software-as-a-service (SaaS) running out of CTGi’s data center in Ft. Lauderdale and accessible via the internet as a web service. The service supports reservations, pricing, scheduling, dispatching, tracking, optimization, and general management of F.A.A. certificated Part 91, 121, and 135 air carriers. In addition, CTGi will enhance its software to include online document management for international carriers. Sapphire is the third air carrier to sign-up with CTGi since Kane announced the launch of service at the Aspen Institute during the Flight School conference held in June this year. CTGi’s future plans include a future branding announcement and the release of a consumer web portal that enables users to book an air taxi or charter aircraft by simply entering an origination and destination street address that CTGi will then use to arrange the first true point-to-point service for consumers.
